"Museums and books filled with paintings were my teachers. I studied every painter from Giotto to Giacometti. I immersed myself in their methods. In that sense, I am self educated, but taught by the masters."

Most of Craig's creative life was spent performing music and writing songs. He has worked as a professional musician for years playing solo with guitar and harmonica.

"I love music, but right now my creative energy is intensely focused on my paintings. Music sleeps while I'm in the other room painting like a madman."
